Handmade mother and baby bunny slate heart new baby gift

This handmade slate heart is decoupaged with a mother and baby bunny design and is finished with a natural twine hanger. It would make a lovely gift for a new baby given at a baby shower or christening.  Each slate heart is decoupaged individually by me. After painting them white first I then carefully select the design and choose how it will be positioned on the heart. This very delicate image is then adhered with matte finish decoupage glue which also acts as a sealant. To create a smooth finish I gently sand with fine grade sandpaper before adding another coat of glue.
