Summer Gold is a luxurious eri (peace) silk shawl which I have printed using local leaves and flowers and dyed a warm dusky pink using natural dyes. I selected leaves which print a gorgeous golden green colour such as walnut, catalpa, horse chestnut, forest pansy and acer. A deeper olive green comes from geranium and sweet chestnut leaves.
